Tafsir Baydawi is based on Imam Zamakhsahri's al-Kashaf. This work studies specifically the places that Imam Baydawi disagreed with Imam Zamakhshari. This is a very useful work to better understand tafsir lughawi, develop ability therein. Moreover, in spite of how influential Zamakhshari's tafsir was, this work provides insight into some of his opinions that were not adopted by Baydawi and many of those who came later.
