Normally, Sirah works discuss events in chronological order, rather than topically. This is a very unique work of Sirah that sheds light on the role of the Messenger ﷺ as a leader of the Islamic government. A government has three branches - legislative, judicial, and executive. Though the function of Islamic governance in Sirah often does not receive much attention, if so attention is primarily given to legislative and judicial issues. This work sheds light on the executive role of the beloved Messenger ﷺ as the head of the Islamic government.
