This work has gained widespread popularity after its publication. The author realized that virtually all Ulum al-Hadith authors adhered to the Shafi madhab. In a quest to formally map out Hanafi Ulum al-Hadith, the author studied the Sunnah section of almost every Hanafi Usul al-Fiqh book, extracting the hanafi perspective regarding hadith matters. Thereafter, he condensed his study into a reader/student friendly form, which is this work.
